This photo was taken at a friend’s wedding in June of ’09. During the intermission between the ceremony and reception, I noticed some liquor bottles framed nicely by a row of wine glasses. I decided to take several shots, of which, this was the most interesting.

I photographed this cityscape in Tokyo, Japan.  This shot was taken from my hotel room on the 47th floor of the Park Hotel the night I got into town.

Tamron’s 60th Anniversary 70-300mm zoom is sharp. It’s so sharp that I carry it in a case so that I don’t cut myself. The full name is Tamron SP AF70-300mm F4-5.6 Di VC USD XLD IF (Model A005). I had a chance to use one at the Bronx Zoo and around my neighborhood in early September. Of course, there’s no real danger of injury, but it is one very sharp lens.

Red Sky at Morn

I took this picture on Friday September 3rd, 2010, the morning that Hurricane Earl was streaming up the East Coast. It was dawn and we were worried about the possible damage, so I wasn’t in the mood to waste time. I was staggered by the red dawn light and got my camera.
