I would have to say the new Canon Rebel T1i. Now that Canon has once again beaten Nikon … even though they may not have Ashton Kutcher … who wouldn’t want that for Mother’s Day. Or since I already ordered it, perhaps a new lens to go with

Since my mother in another country, I think a digital photo album with preloaded photos of her grandkids would be a great gift. We meet only once or twice a year, so she really misses seeing the kids. The digital photo album could also serve as a ‘brag book’ for her as she could carry it around!

My Mom is looking for a new camera for Mothers day. Think I’ll go with the SD1200 since it’s only her second camera, and she’s looking for the 10MP. It’s simple, easy to use, and Canon’s been my favorite brand. Looking forward to buying it on Abe’s!

Suggest giving a good digital camera. A lifetime of memories. Suggest one of the Panasonic Lumix cameras, which are getting all sorts of great reviews. Good price on Abe’s as well.

A camcorder is definitely the best gift for any mom. We never had one growing up and have to rely solely on photos to relive our best memories - wouldn’t it be better to watch them happen all over again??

For the young mother, I think a camcorder is a great gift to catch those extra special moments. For an older mom, like my own, I think a digital frame is a great way to share all the memories that you’ve had together.

I went to a local store to pick up a Camera (Panasonic DMCz28) they had ordered for me. Well, after taking a look at it, there was something inside the lens of the camera, so I could not purchase it. I was rather sad to say the least as this was my Mother’s day gift. I think I may take a chance and purchase from Abe’s once I get my coupon! Thanks so much!

As a mother of two, I would say a new SLR camera with a nice lens to capture all those family moments. Of course, a digital photo frame to show those pictures would be nice also.

I would have a to say a digital photoframe/keychain preloaded with family pictures. Also one other thing would be a Wii, buy some mom/family games and have fun playing games with her all day long would be more enjoyable than some flowers.

i think a labtop would be great because it will allow her to communicate with more people on the net. Video chat, voice chat and email.
Once they start using email, they can talk to family members that live in other states.

I guess it all depends on how tech savvy the mom is. If I put a D90 or a 50D in my mom’s hands, she wouldn’t know what to do with it. Personally, I’m considering the new Canon Powershot SD780. It’s sleek lines and small form factor means it’s small enough and fashionable enough for her to take anywhere–and that’s really the goal. If she doesn’t have the camera with her, she can’t take the pictures :).

I love the new “mini” computers, I know my mom is in her 60’s and very intimidated by a big system, she says she just doesn’t know what to do with it, so in comes the new mini laptops. They’re cheap and do just the basic, fun things!
